So there are two things I’ve been working on this past week. One is trying to finish up some of my older 6×6 pads. You know how we are, if there’s just a couple of sheets of paper left or a few scraps, we can’t bear to part with it. This means that I have lots of 6×6 pads with just a few sheets left in them. I’m determined to use these up this year. The second thing is filling in some gaps in my card inventory. I’m pretty low on get well and sympathy cards right now. Hence, the get well cards I have to share with you today.
I started out with Warm Cocoa card stock from Gina K. Designs for the card base and to mat the different panels on the card. The patterned paper, as I mentioned, is from my stash. I love the bright cheerful colors, perfect for a get well card I thought.
For the focal I used the adorable little pig image and sentiment from My Favorite Thing’s The Whole Herd stamp set. I colored him in with my copics, then die-cut the image with the coordinating dies. I used my comics to color a bit of mud beneath him. I added some Lawn Fawn twine to the bottom of the panel and called this one done.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
